This project reflects Bel Art’s ongoing commitment to creating work that goes beyond aesthetics-engaging people, telling stories and contributing to the cultural and emotional landscape of public spaces.
This public art installation, created for the Neighborhood Clinic’s park in Naples, is a celebration of community, creativity and shared human values. The project brings together art and purpose in a meaningful way, transforming the voices of young participants into a lasting visual experience.
Centered around the theme of “gratitude and compassion”, elementary school students were invited to express their thoughts and emotions through drawing. Each artwork reflects a personal interpretation of kindness and gratitude and everyday moments - captured with honesty and children’s imagination.
These original drawings were then carefully translated into stained glass panels, preserving the authenticity of each child’s expression while elevating it through the timeless medium of glass. The result is a vibrant and luminous installation where light, color and meaning interact throughout the day.
Installed within the park environment, the artwork creates a space for reflection, connection and inspiration. It stands not only as a visual landmark, but as a symbol of how art can unite generations and give voice to the community.
This panel reflects the theme of gratitude through simple yet powerful symbolism - figures holding heart forms that represent care, compassion and human connection, Inspired by a child’s original drawing, the composition was translated into stained glass, preserving its innocence while enhancing it with color, light and material depth.
Seen from within the stainless steel structure, the stained glass panels come to life through natural daylight, revealing vibrant colors and layered compositions. As light shifts throughout the day, each panel transforms, creating an ever-changing atmosphere that reflects the warmth, hope and gratitude expressed by the young artists.
